Hear me cover Sharon Van Etten and Ten City. I'm honoured to have been invited to do this for one of the great music blogs. Two free piano/vocal cover versions for you to stream/download. Recorded at RAK Studios recently. Hope you dig them! Thank you, Aquarium Drunkard folk.
I am very proud to say my 5-track 1982 EP with Robert Wyatt, 'Summer into Winter', gets a vinyl re-release on Record Store Day 2020, which this year is April 18. Half-speed master by Abbey Road’s Miles Showell. Transparent turquoise vinyl. First time in 38 years.
On Monday Feb 17 I will be performing at one of London's best low-key music nights, the Society of the Golden Slippers. The Society has hosted intimate invite-only showcases for critics, influencers and music fans since 2010, showcasing both new talent and understated sets from established artists. The events are held in salon-style upstairs rooms in various Soho locations in the heart of London.
I'll be playing a 30-40 minute stripped-back solo set accompanied by my bass player, Rex Horan, as a warm-up for my upcoming UK tour.
You can win a pair of tickets for this event. Invitation only. No tickets on sale to general public.
This offer has now expired.
I'm playing solo and signing copies of my new album in a handful of small indie record shops at the beginning of February. Come and see me in Marlborough at Sound Knowledge, Brighton at Resident Music, Whitstable at Gatefield Sounds, and Leeds at Jumbo Records.
