Season of String Playlist
I made a new isolation playlist of lone guitar meditations called 'Season of String’. A mixture of folk, American primitive, experimental, traditional Spanish and modal jazz. It has been helping me get through the past couple of weeks. I wrote about it for the folks at NPR Music. I took the photo for the playlist a few years back of a deserted rail track in Dorset. Hope you enjoy it.

Night Piano Playlist
Last week I was put on the NHS and government at risk list for Covid-19. Since my illness in 1982 I’ve spent 27 years on immunosuppressants. It’s difficult in isolation - no physical contact with the family, separate bedroom and bathroom, different meal times - but I made this playlist of late night piano meditations by Debussy, Satie, Albèniz and more.
